1. Information We Collect

When you use Neo, we collect:

  • Account information: email address, name, and profile data from your login provider (Google or email).
  • Content data: YouTube video URLs you submit for clipping, generated clips, captions, and metadata.
  • Social account tokens: when you connect TikTok or Instagram, we store encrypted OAuth access tokens to post content on your behalf.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, clips generated, and feedback provided.
  • Payment information: processed by our payment provider (Whop). We do not store credit card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Generate short-form clips from your submitted videos.
  • Post clips to your connected social media accounts when you enable auto-posting.
  • Improve our AI clip selection and rendering quality.
  • Process payments and manage your subscription.
  • Send service-related communications.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Supabase: database and authentication.
  • Google (Gemini API): AI-powered clip selection from audio.
  • Groq: audio transcription.
  • TikTok API: posting content to your TikTok account (with your permission).
  • Instagram/Meta API: posting content to your Instagram account (with your permission).
  • Whop: payment processing.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase (hosted on AWS). Social media tokens are encrypted at rest. We use HTTPS for all data transmission. Video files are stored temporarily during processing and deleted after clip generation is complete.

5. Your Rights

  • Access, update, or delete your account data at any time.
  • Disconnect social media accounts to revoke posting access.
  • Request deletion of all your data by contacting us.
  • Export your generated clips.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and generated clips for as long as your account is active. Source videos are deleted after processing. If you delete your account, all associated data is removed within 30 days.

7. Social Media Posting

When you connect TikTok or Instagram and enable auto-posting, Neo will publish clips to your accounts on your behalf. You can disable this at any time from the Sources page. We never post without your explicit opt-in.
